Restday in Ulan Bataar…

First news was the accident of Johan Gitsels and co in the beautiful Porche. We were at the scene of the accident but didn’t want to report on it yesterday for the family. Now, all is well with the driver and co (except for a piece of his ear) so I can talk about it. What a crach! They rolled 6 times!!! What a miracle that only a broken arm and a piece of Johan’s ear missing is the consequense…

The Porsche is wrecked. The race is over for Johan, but perhaps we will see them back on the track…

Restday was perfect. Herman worked on the books and I went to the welder to fix the fenders and the rest of the work on the CAR(!). The Contal is in good shape to take on the next eight days… untill Novosibirsk. Jeeses, no rest for eight days?! I wonder how we will feel there…

A restday is not all play and beers… there are washes to be done (we wore these clothes for three days…) and look at the vieuw from our hotel window! Ulan Bataar is exploded with a constant traffic jam as a result… They are crazy here!

So, now the blog will be silent for a while. We are in camps for the next eight days, so no internet… no blog. Herman and I hope to have exciting news on the other side of those eight days… CU when we get there…
