30 days before the start of the greatest adventure ever I ponder over the map… and realise that we will be driving more days then what seperates us from departure. The temperature is rising… 

34 days between Peking and Paris. 4 rest days = 30 days of driving. Devide 8.500 miles (13.680 kilometer) in 30 and we are facing 456 kilometers per day. Knowing that Mongolian days will be shorter due to the terrain there must be 600 kilometer plus days elsewhere. Brrrrr… I hope the Contal can take it, and that we can.
